The Wildlife Waystation run solely off volunteers and donations they receive no funding from federal state or local government. The Wildlife Waystation is manned 24 hours a day by dedicated and trained volunteers. The sanctuary is located in Angeles National Forest in Southern California. The waystation is known nationally and internationally. They have exotic animals from the United States to lions from New Zealand. The sanctuary has helped 77,000 abused or abandoned exotic animals. Some animal residents are wolves, chimpanzees, leopards, bears, lions, camels, exotic birds, reptiles, and more.
